The JV Girls Basketball will play at Roanoke College this Saturday, February 25^th in Bast Gymnasium..  The bus will leave New Covenant promptly at 8:15 am. The team will play at 11:00 am. The map and address is posted on the athletic website under Files on the team page or by clicking here.

Due to the VHSL track meet being held on campus along with several other events, parking will be very limited.

Admission will be charged.

Please return all basketball uniforms Monday, February 27th.

Varsity Women: 2 shorts/2 jerseys/backpack

JV Women: 2 shorts/2 jerseys (some girls may have varsity whites to turn in).

We will be ordering the warm-ups for Varsity/JV Men's and Women's basketball this Wednesday.  If you have not turned in your form, please return it no later then Tuesday, November 15th. We will not be re-ordering so this is your only chance! If your athlete is unsure of what size to order, there are samples to try on in Coach Alexanders office.

Just a reminder that the Winter Athletic Awards will be held this Friday, March 3, at 7:00 pm in the Moomaw Gymnasium. Church attire is suggested.

Also, the athletic department is hosting a March Madness Basketball Showcase this Saturday, March 4, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The afternoon and evening will include blue-white games in Workman Fieldhouse and will conclude with a Varsity Boys vs. Faculty/Coaches matchup at 6:15 p.m. We'll have a dunk contest at halftime of the Varsity Boy's game and full concessions will be available.

Please plan to arrive early for the game so the coaches have time to organize the players. You can find the complete schedule below.

Varsity Basketball Sophomore Chloe Ingersoll is ranked #6 in rebounds by The News and Advance for the Central Virginia Area.  Chloe has had several Double-Doubles this season.  Congratulations Chloe!

New Covenant Basketball Teams will be holding Open Gyms over Christmas Break.  This is a great opportunity to stay in shape and work on fundamentals with the coaches.  Please check the athletic website (www.newcovenantathletics.org) for specific times and dates for each team.
