This weekend the MS and Blue teams will be playing in the Steak N Shake 2016 Futures Volleyball Tournament.  The MS team is at EC Glass and the Blue team will play at Linkhorne.Elementary.  Please have your players at the schools by 9 am.  Their first matches are at 10am. The entry fee for families is $5 per person and full concessions are available.  Parents you may want to pack snacks and food for your athletes as this will be a long day. 

Due to the 1/2 day of school, there will be NO Middle School or Blue Volleyball Practice Thursday.

The Girls Middle School Volleyball Team will be heading to Dayspring Academy on Friday and possibly Saturday.  Nick Newsome will be driving the bus, leaving the school at 2 pm. If they win on Friday they will be playing again on Saturday. Nick Newsome has volunteered to drive the bus for this day also!  Thank you Nick!

Tomorrow, Thursday October 13th, there will be NO Blue Volleyball practice. The A MS team will practice until 4pm.

The pairings have changed for next week!! We will now play on Friday at 5:15 pm at Dayspring.  Because we have an earlier pairing, we will be sending the girls by bus to the Friday game.  Mr. Newsome has agreed to drive the bus for us and we will leave the school at 2pm.  We hope to be back in Lynchburg around 9 pm. If they win on Friday, it will be parent transport to the Saturday match.

Hello Middle School Volleyball Parents,

The VACA tournament on October 14th/15th is being held at Dayspring Academy in Blacksburg.  The schedule for the games are below, but as you can see, we have a late game on Friday night, and if we win it will be followed by an early game on Saturday. 

This will be a parent transport event.  You may want to spend the night in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area.  We will not know if we will need to play on Saturday until after we play on Friday. For those thinking of staying in Blacksburg, here are a couple of hotels near Dayspring.

Hello Parents,

On Monday our middle school teams will be traveling to play Kenston Forest.  This is a long trip on a Monday and we would like to get the girls back as soon as possible.  For this reason we will NOT be stopping for food on the way home.  Please pack food for your athlete to eat on the bus.  We will have coolers available on each bus. We will also be using the first part of the trip to the game as a study hall.  Please make your athlete aware that they will need to make sure they have their school books available to them on the bus.

There will be no volleyball practices today except for the Junior Gryphon 5th/6th team. The coaches have informed the girls of this already.
