Biography:
Melissa began coaching with the New Covenant Volleyball program in 2015 as Head Varsity Coach. She was named BRC Volleyball Co-Coach of the year in 2016. She is also a coach with the Timberlake Volleyball Club travel team since 2015.
A native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Melissa came to Lynchburg in 2011 to attend Liberty University. While at Liberty, she played volleyball all 4 years, helping her team to win back to back Big South Conference Championships (2011, 2012) and as team captain her senior year.
Melissa enjoys investing in young women as a coach, spending time with her husband (New Covenant Basketball and Lacrosse coach Hunter Hook), Catch-Phrase, sporting events and movies. Her favorite college/pro teams are the Minnesota Twins, Liberty Flames, Michigan Football and the Bronco’s.
