Believe it or not our fall season is underway as the varsity volleyball team competed in the Rockbridge County Tourney this past Saturday. It was a good day for the Lady Gryphons winning 4 sets and dropping 4 sets. They played some large public schools that are the top volleyball programs in the VHSL with college-bound players who have been offered DI scholarships. One of the team that the Lady Gryphons faced on Saturday was intown rival LCA who they defeated 2-0 in their match-up.
This week Varsity Volleyball team host Temple Christian for their first home match of the year. Come on out to Workman Field House on Friday and catch some early season volleyball action.
