Today our teams will compete with Jefferson Forest at the FYAA park. As shown in the Weekly Athletic Schedule you received yesterday, the games are as shown below.

The Middle School Spring Athletics (5th-8th) End of Season Pizza Party will be after school in Moomaw Gym on May 10th from 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm. Please send in a snack or drink to share and $5 per athlete.  We will still practice through our final games on May 15h,

The JV soccer game vs VES has been cancelled.  There will be NO PRACTICE for Jr. Gryphon soccer, MS soccer or JV soccer.

Varsity, MS and Junior Gryphon Lacrosse will practice as scheduled.

Tennis will practice in Workman Fieldhouse.

As of now, the Varsity Golf and Soccer matches will be played as scheduled.

Lacrosse practice was cancelled on Thursday, but Coach Alexander would like to go ahead and practice before the varsity game. 5-8^th grade will practice from 3:10-4:00 pm.  Please stay after practice if you can and support varsity team vs. Fishburne.

Due to the forecast for tomorrow, we are cancelling Fridays practice for Junior Gryphon Soccer, Junior Gryphon Lacrosse, MS Lacrosse, MS Soccer, Golf and Tennis.

Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse teams will practice in the gyms.  Please bring appropriate shoes.

Hello parents,

We are excited to have our first Middle School and Junior Gryphon lacrosse games this Thursday against James River Day School!  We are in need of some parent or sibling help to run the clock and keep the book for our teams. 

Please let me know if you are interested in helping out your sons team in this way.

Dear parents,

I wanted to pass along some information about this weekend and the upcoming schedule for your planning.

I canceled all the games schedule for this Saturday at Washington & Lee University in Lexington.   Once the schedule was released I asked for some modifications so we could realistically field teams for all the age brackets and game times.  However, even with the help of the folks in Lexington it wasn’t possible to field teams as NCS U11, U13 and U15 games were scheduled at same time and some games scheduled as early as 10:00am final NCS games of the day at 8:00pm.   Enjoy the weekend and have your son practice ground balls, throwing and catching.

Looking at the game schedule please plan for the following:

Games listed as U15 consist of 7 & 8^th grade boys

Games listed as U13 consist of 6 & 7^th grade boys

Games listed as U11 consist of 5 & 6^th grade boys

Games with James River Day & North Cross School consist our Middle School team of 7/8^th grade boys & Jr Gryphon team of 5/6^th boys.
